SHIPPING & DELIVERY
SHIPPING LEAD TIMES
In-stock items are normally shipped via courier within 2 days of order acceptance. Items shipped via motor freight carrier shipments and drop ships may require up to 10 days from order acceptance. If an item cannot be shipped within 30 days, we will contact you for further instructions.
We recommend that items with extended shipping times be ordered 3 months in advance of desired delivery date.
Shipment dates are approximate. Southpaw Enterprises is not responsible for damages resulting from shipment delays or product deliveries.
SHIPPING, HANDLING AND FREIGHT CHARGES
U.S. Domestic Customers: Orders are shipped via UPS. A shipping and handling charge, based on the greater of $10.00 or 14% of the order total, is added to shipments within the 48 contiguous states. Shipping and handling charges for orders going to Alaska, Hawaii or U.S. territories will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Please note: A 5% handling fee is charged to use third party (customer specified) transportation.
Canadian Customers: Orders are shipped via UPS. A shipping and handling charge, based on the greater of $20.00 USD or 21% of the order total, is added to shipments. Please include the shipping charge in your order payment. NOTE: Brokerage charges, GST taxes and duty are not included and are the customer’s responsibility. Please note: A 5% handling fee is charged to use third party (customer specified) transportation.
International Customers: Shipping charges will be quoted based on customer’s specified mode of transportation from the U.S. and must be paid at the time the order is accepted. Taxes and duties are the customer’s responsibility.
Larger items will be shipped via Motor Freight. A quote from our preferred freight carriers will be requested to determine the lowest cost. Customer will be notified of the charges prior to shipment, including additional fees for lift-gate service, inside delivery or residential delivery requests.
If products are to be exported, the order is subject to Southpaw’s ability to obtain export licenses and other necessary papers within a reasonable period. Customer will furnish all consular and custom declarations and will accept and bear all responsibility for penalties resulting from errors or omissions thereon. Customer shall not re-export any product, or any goods or items that incorporate the product, if the re-export would violate United States export laws.
DAMAGED AND INCOMPLETE SHIPMENTS
All deliveries should be inspected immediately before signing carrier acceptance. Damage description (including damage to outer cartons) and other notations must be written on the delivery receipt or bill of lading and signed by the driver. Retain all packaging.Report any damage or shortage immediately by calling our office at 800.228.1698 (Domestic) or +1.937.252.6460 (International). Have your customer number and invoice number available. All damage and shortage claims must be reported within 30 days of delivery.
